Becoming a new parent is very exciting; you have been preparing for months! Even with the best preparation, however, you can not anticipate some of the questions and concerns that may develop the first few days at home.
The Henry County Home Visitor Program for new parents is available to answer some of the common concerns you may experience through a home visit - free of charge. Some common concerns for mom and baby would include: what's normal and what's not, feeding concerns, assistance with breastfeeding, immunization schedules, postpartum concerns, to name a few.
The Home Visitor Program offers home visitation by an RN who is experienced in OB. Visits are scheduled in the first two weeks after delivery.
