Child Health Services is a part of the Maternal and Child Health Program offered by Henry County Public Health. The goal of the Maternal and Child Health Program is to provide the information and support needed to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.

The Child Health Services portion of this program offers:

• Immunization Clinics:

  You may obtain your immunizations through Henry County Public Health.

• Home Visitor Program:

  A nurse offers a home visit to new parents to share information and provide a variety of services for mom and the new baby.

• Lead Poisoning Prevention:

  Information regarding the prevention of lead poisoning is available, as well as blood lead testing.

• Child Health Program

  Clinics are held where services are available such as dental screening, nutrition counseling, social work services, and lead screening.
